Year of the garden
Canada has proclaimed 2022 as the Year of the Garden. We will recognize Canada’s rich garden heritage, celebrate the vibrant gardens of today, and create legacies for a sustainable future. This year marks the centennial of Canada’s ornamental horticultural sector and celebrates the 100-year anniversary of the Canadian Nursery Landscape Association.

- Join a Horticultural Society! Discover the pleasure of gardening with an MHS membership.
- Plant Red! Start some seeds or pick up some plants at our MHS Plant sale
- Recognize a Garden Hero! MHS has so many great gardeners….it will be hard to pick one!
- Learn from Experts! Our monthly speakers always have so much to teach us
- Visit Beautiful Gardens! Our Community Gardens and Garden Tours always provide inspiration.
