Founder and Creative Director at Euclid Farms, Shannon Whelan, grew up surrounded by nature in the Ottawa Valley where she spent summers exploring the outdoors. After moving to Toronto to study English and History at the University of Toronto, she started growing flowers for pleasure in her small city yard on Euclid Avenue. Over time, her little business expanded into the shop and farm it is today! Favouring garden-inspired style and wildly unexpected colours, some of Shannon’s favourite flowers include irises, narcissus, dahlias and MOST of all, sweet peas. Follow Euclid Farms on Facebook and Instagram.
In addition to being a florist and flower farmer, Shannon is a retired professional dancer, a dance educator, adjudicator, and choreographer currently on the faculty at the Ontario School of Ballet (OSB) in Toronto.
