Materials:
Sheila will take the mystery out of how to create a beautiful centrepiece suitable for a dinner table, or anywhere in need of flowers! She will also demonstrate how to make a “small” arrangement, which must not exceed 10” in height, width and depth including the container.
Please bring:
- A ‘grocery store’ bouquet of mixed flowers. You can also bring extra greenery, twigs, etc. to add to your arrangement if desired
- Flower cutters, secateurs, or a small garden clipper
- A mug for tea/coffee
- For Centrepiece: A vase/container for your arrangement deep enough to hold chicken wire (to secure your flowers) and water, approximately 4” deep and 7-8” in diameter. It can be any shape. (Sheila will send a photo of vase samples for this)
- For Small Arrangement: Total design cannot exceed 10” in any dimension, so your base/container needs to be in proportion. See examples in photo. You may wish to bring a few to choose from
Note: chicken wire and tape for the vases, extra greenery, and refreshments will be provided.
